Suzy Smith-Roy

Youth and adolescence, anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, family distress, major life changes, confidence and identity, sex and relationship therapy.

Suzy is a provisional member of NZAC and has a background in youth mental health and sex and relationship therapy.

Suzy uses a person centred approach to counselling.  She provides a warm, non-judgemental space for clients to navigate the complexity of life’s challenges. Suzy’s work emphasises self empowerment and using current experience to gain self-awareness, insight, and acceptance. This can then facilitate powerful change and healthier relationships.

Outside of work, Suzy enjoys walking her little dog Myah, doing a bit of acting/theatre, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
